What's not included

  • Content management, so page text changes come back to us after launch
  • Copywriting and photography, available as add-ons
  • Domain registration and hosting fees, paid by you to the provider directly
  • Advertising budget, and any management of paid campaigns
  • Any commitment about search position, traffic or enquiry volume

Anything outside the scope above is quoted separately, in writing, before it is carried out. Nothing is added to your bill without your agreement.

FAQs

What happens to the backup plan after three months?

It stops. Nothing renews automatically and no card is charged without you agreeing first. About two weeks before the three months end we ask whether you want to continue at the listed $49 per month, and if we hear nothing the backups simply cease on the final day.

Can I cancel part way through?

Yes. Anything already delivered is charged at its individual list price and the package saving is removed, because the saving only exists for the complete package. If we have delivered the Starter Business Website and you stop there, that is charged at $499 and $800 of your payment is refunded.

What slows a package like this down?

Content, almost every time. The build runs on the text and images you supply, and a package waiting on page copy sits idle in a way a single small job does not. If content is likely to be difficult, buy the copywriting add-on at the start rather than three weeks in.

Do I own the accounts?

Yes. The domain, hosting, analytics and business profile are registered in your business name wherever the provider allows it, and we hand over the credentials at the end. We keep access only for as long as you want us involved.

Refund & cancellation

What happens if you change your mind, and what happens to money already paid.

Cooling-off before work starts
You have 7 days after ordering to cancel while work has not yet begun. Up to 25% may be retained to cover scoping and scheduling already carried out.
Work already done
Once delivery has started, refunds are assessed against the work completed and the deliverables already handed over — the list under “what you get” above is what that assessment is made against. Approved refunds are processed within 14 days.
If we cannot deliver what is described here
You are refunded. The scope on this page is the scope we are held to, which is exactly why the exclusions above are stated before you buy rather than after.
